整个标志洋溢着动感与清新。标志中央的图形，既象一只飞翔的海燕，又象一株稚嫩的禾苗，外围一圈半封闭的图案，意在增强整个标志的动感，同时使整个标志的造型更完整。

此社徽是在中少总社的标志图形基础上延展出来的，该徽组合了中少总社的社标，标准英文缩写字体、中英文标准字体等要素，是中少总社“ＶＩ”要素的集中展示。社徽中部的海浪纹样，既体现了少儿出版工作其题材、规模、意义象海洋般的宽广与深远，又使整个社徽更有装饰性、层次感，从而更加高贵与典雅。

　　 中少在线背后的媒体是：《中国少年报》、《中国少年报都市版》、《中国中学生报》、《中国儿童报》、《中国儿童画报》、《中学生》、《我们爱科学》、《儿童文学》、《中国少年儿童》、《中国卡通》、《婴儿画报》、《幼儿画报》、《中国少年文摘》、《知心姐姐》、《中国少儿出版》。

　　“知心姐姐网”隶属于团中央中国少年儿童新闻出版总社，是以“知心姐姐”为品牌形象的教育心理咨询类公益网站，是国内首家亲子沟通网站。网站以为少年儿童和家庭提供丰富的成长信息和亲子教育信息以及提供及时的咨询服务为宗旨，设置了“我是知心姐姐”、“知心小灵通”、“知心姐姐在线咨询”、“知心信箱精华”、“知心书吧”、“知心论坛”、“知心博客”和“知心家庭学校”等板块。
